Prov.8:1...Does not wisdom cry out, And understanding lift up her voice? ....Jesus stands at the door and knocks, but we must ask Him in. He is Wisdom. He is the Seed of Abraham Gal.3:16b;  He is the Word found in John 1:1. This Same Word was made flesh and dwelt among us. John 1:14

When the angel of the LORD came to Mary, the angel spoke the Word that was sent from God.

      Luke 1:31-33...Remember Word is SEED!

Mark 4:14   God planted HIS WORD, in this young virgin named Mary. She was overcome by the HOLY SPIRIT of God.....

And the WORD became flesh and dwelt among us and we are still beholding His glory today of  the only begotten Son of God. John 1:14

Prov. 8:12-14...I, wisdom, dwell with prudence, And find out knowledge and discretion. The fear of the LORD is to hate evil; Pride and arrogance and the evil way, And the perverse mouth I hate. Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom; I am understanding, I have strength.

I have heard that wisdom is not just the knowledge of something, but knowing how to use it to produce a good result... Hosea 4:6...My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.

How many times have we heard the first part of this Scripture, but not the rest of it. He says, "BECAUSE WE HAVE REJECTED KNOWLEDGE, HE WILL ALSO REJECT US, and HE WILL FORGET OUR CHILDREN."

So many times we have been shown the truth, or the solution to the problem in the Word of God, but we don't want to hear it. We are rejecting this knowledge. We don't want to hear the truth...we close our eyes to it and harden our hearts...and we reject His Word. We want to blame our problems on the other person. It is never our fault, but always the wife/husband, mom/dad, kids, boss, or co-worker.

Right now, as we study the Proverbs of Solomon, we are learning wisdom and knowledge, we are taught the knowledge of a thing, but we refuse to believe it.

We know that in our hearts, what the Word says...Prov.18:20-21...A man's stomach shall be satisfied from the fruit of his mouth; From the produce of his lips he shall be filled. Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.

OK, this is knowledge, but how many of you will try to explain this away as not being important?

How many will say that you don't believe it really means that death and life are really in the power of the tongue?

How many of you are rejecting this knowledge?  Does not wisdom cry out?

How long will you do it your way instead of His way.

He has given us the knowledge of how to, now believe what He has said, do it, apply it, and you will have His wisdom.

I believe that when you read the whole of Proverbs 8, you will see Yeshua the Messiah. Read in full through-out all of it, and put His name in place of wisdom.

This Chapter is referring to our Savior, and through Him comes wisdom. For He is wisdom and we have the mind of Christ....when we abide in His Word, and His Word abides in us.... John 8:31,32..."If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."

When this Word lives in us, we have a supernatural power and peace that only God can give, and we can only get it through this Word.

A person who does not have Jesus does not have this spiritual power within them. They are still in their natural birth state. It is not until the new birth does the Spirit of God give power, and this power must come through the Word and the Spirit. Then by this word that is in you....you must start walking in it...doing it...

James 1:22...But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror, for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was.

I believe what this is telling us is that when you hear the word, praise the Lord, then walk out of the church, and can't even remember what that word you heard was, then this word is not abiding in you. You think you have got it; you think it is making you a different person but  It fell on stony ground. ...Mark 4:14,16,17

By a continual, daily study and meditation of the Word of God, we can know what to do about the issues we are faced with, and can therefore apply it by speaking the Written Word to that problem just as Jesus did when tempted by satan. And then.... the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.... Phil.4:7
